The heat index may make temperatures feel like 40 degrees Celsius in Metro Manila towards the end of the week. Based on the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s (PAGASA) heat index forecast, Metro Manila’s heat index will range from 39.9 to 40.7 degrees Celsius this week.

PAGASA also calls it human discomfort index, which “gives the apparent temperature or what human perceive or feel as the temperature affect their body.” MB
