Demolition sparks protests anew

Dozens informal settles clashed with riot police in Barangay Culiat, Quezon City, March 9, 2016. . 

The protesters, many of whom were carrying empty bottles threw stones and hard objects towards the police who responded by dousing them with water canons.

For two days, the informal settlers fight against demolition crews and the riot police. They put up  a barricade along  Luzon Avenue with tricycles while throwing  plastic bags containing excrement.
