Batangas hit by oil spill
Baby mangroves marred by oil spill at the shoreline of Barangay Talibayog in Calatagan Batangas July 6, 2010, where members of the Philippine Coastguard Marine Environment Protection and oil spill response team double up their operations to clean the area.The baby mangroves will die a few days from now unless the oil spill been removed. An area of 80 meters by 12 meters has been affected by bunker fuel oil scattered. (linus escandor).
