Filipino devotees were outraged by the act of an Australian John Safran, a 33-year-old comic from Melbourne who joined the Filipinos in a procession carrying a wooden cross .
Buboy Dionisio, nailed to the cross along with Safran, could not understand the reason behind the intentions of Safran and his crew. "John Safran gave us a false name.
He said he was John Michael and he never told us he wanted to make a show that would say funny things about our religion and that would be anti-Christ," Mr Dionisio said.
John Safran "aka" John Michaels succeeded his ordeal to be nailed on the cross. Christians have been stunned to learn John's nailing to the cross as a television show stunt.
