EARTH DAY COASTAL CLEAN UP

A cleanup activity with the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore, government agencies like the Philippine Navy, Department of Tourism and Environment and Natural Resources, local governments, environmental non-govern­mental organizations and Haribon members and volunteers will kick off the Earthday celebration .ltural Center of the Philippines. Although this will not solve the pollution in Manila Bay, the activity hopes to raise awareness and action among the citizenry the urgent need to keep water bodies free from pollution.
