A woman was hit by a speeding taxicab then by a ten-wheeler truck sunday past midnight. The unidentified woman suffered extreme head injury - blood flows from her head, and was motionless for about 10-15 minutes. At first, we thought she’s dead not until she moved her right hand.With no rescue team in sight, media men carried the injured lady in a makeshift stretcher to the hospital.The lady was then brought to the De Ocampo hospital near the Nagtahan Bridge where she was refused entry because no one will pay for the downpayment as a hospital policy. The helpless woman was admitted entry only after Gretchen Malalad of ABS-CBN (the girl who fought Basketball player Alvarez) together with other Radio reporters pressure the hospital staff to attend to the dying woman. But what happened next, we have no idea. The hospital staff closed the door prohibiting the MEDIA entry to the room.It is difficult and somewhat disturbing when this kind of situation occurs.. It is much easier to look at the dead rather than a dying person.
